Principal Software Engineer / Programmer Analyst

• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications, procedures and requirements. Evaluate and analyze business requirements to determine feasibility and timelines, compatibility with current computer system and capabilities.
• Plan, design, test and document computer programs applying the knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
• Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the sequence of steps, the system and participants should follow to descript the logical operations.
• Map the business requirements and procedures with the ERP/CRM application and configure the system.
• Perform the GAP analysis of business procedures and ERP packages, identify the GAP, document and propose the custom/ work-around procedures.
• Provide the technical and training assistance to Business users.
• Evaluate and analyze the Quality of IT applications, identify the defects and propose resolution.
• Define and document the standards to follow in the project implementation.
• Work with the following tools and technologies: Oracle CRM Application(Oracle Sales Online, Install Base, Service Contracts, Inventory, BOM, Order Management, Oracle Customer Online, Trading Community Architecture (TCA), Oracle Partner Relationship Management, Oracle Trade Management, Oracle Marketing Online, iStore), Oracle Application Technologies (AOL, JTT, JTF, OA Framework), SQL, PL/SQL, RDBMS concepts, Jdeveloper, Oracle Configurator, TOAD, SQL Navigator, Java, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, J2EE and Solaris.

Required qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation as a computer software professional.
